Wham bam thank you glam – DAEMöNIK FONCE unleash riotous new album ‘DFII’

March 11 2026

LONDON-based DAEMöNIK FONCE take their unique blend of glam-anarcho-punkarama to new heights with latest album ‘DFII’ – via Property of the Lost Records.

Led by Welsh twins Stewart (vocs) and Paul Summers (guitar), along with Andrew Prestidge (drums), Sam Mansbridge (bass) and Hanna Edgren (Korg/vocs), the band celebrate the release at London’s Hope & Anchor on Saturday [March 14] along with Property of the Lost labelmates, Bad Sam, Thee Headshrinkers, and Frank From Blue Velvet.

‘DFII’ is a journey through not only the band’s influences and conscience, but a paean to the battles of everyday life we all endure including faith, fear, and love.

From opener ‘Oh Corita’ – dedicated to nun turned anti-war campaigner Corita Kent – through the Sweet/T-Rex stomper ‘Chippin’ Away,’ to the deranged Devoto/Andi Sex Gang tinged ‘Night Terrors’ ‘DFII’ is an album for the ages, philosophical, deep, upbeat – a rare heady mixture and one that puts DAEMöNIK FONCE high upon a glamourous pedestal, towering over their peers.

‘DFII’ was recorded in Newport with producer and sound engineer Richard Jackson (Super Furry Animals, Dub War, Future of the Left).
