Weather the winter storms with new THE FAR NORTH album
OUT of Runcorn in the North West of England, Lee Wylding and his folk/alt-rock/Americana tinged THE FAR NORTH project release third album ‘Songs For Weathering Storms’ (via Red Lantern Records).
“A lot of my songwriting deals with love, loss and hope,” he said, “but on this album I cast my net a bit further afield and wrote a song about challenging how we view animals as simply food, and actually making a difference and standing up for animal rights by cutting down on our meat consumption and making a move to a more plant based future.”
However, focus track ‘Mountain Song’ is the classic, broken-hearted, break-up anthem, whose ending hints that perhaps, all is not lost.
‘Songs For Weathering Storms’ was produced by Jono Tringham.
