Velvet Underground and Tom Waits to feature in Johnny Depp’s dazzling art-drama, ‘Modigliani – Three Days On The Wings Of Madness’

FEATURING music by The Velvet Underground & Nico, Tom Waits, and The Tiger Lillies, the soundtrack to ‘Modigliani – Three Days On The Wings Of Madness,’ compiled and curated by Johnny Depp, will be released on June 27 (via Cadiz Music/IN.2 Records).

Directed by Depp and starring Riccardo Scamarcio (A Haunting in Venice, John Wick: Chapter 2) the film depicts a seventy-two-hour whirlwind in the life of bohemian artist Amedeo ‘Modi’ Modigliani and follows a chaotic series of events through the streets of 1916, war torn Paris.

On the run from the police, the desire to end his career and leave the city is dismissed by fellow artists Maurice Utrillo (Bruno Gouery), Chaïm Soutine (Ryan McParland) and Modi’s muse, Beatrice Hastings (Antonia Desplat).

Modi seeks advice from his art dealer and friend, Leopold Zborowski (Stephen Graham), however, after a night of hallucinations, the chaos in Modi’s mind reaches a crescendo when faced with an American collector, Maurice Gangnat (Al Pacino), who has the power to change his life.

‘Modigliani – Three Days On The Wings Of Madness’ has special preview screenings in cinemas on July 10, including an exclusive ‘In Conversation’ discussion with Johnny Depp, and art critic Waldemar Januszczak.
