Trip hoppers L’Entourloop prepare to bop, all over the shop
L’Entourloop and their old school reggae, hip-hop fusion, have just announced a four-date mini-UK tour next month, with gigs in Bristol, Liverpool, and London.
The shows will see L’entourloop perform tracks from their huge back catalogue, as well as latest album, the 20-track, ‘La clarté dans la confusion.’
The success of previous albums ‘Chickens in Your Town’ and ‘Le Savoir Faire’ quickly raised the collective’s profile, and developing a reputation for producing stunning collaborations, ‘La clarté dans la confusion’ features thirty-two guests from all over the world.
On the reggae side, Jamaican legends Ken Boothe and Bounty Killer meet new generation stars Alborosie, Kabaka Pyramid, Queen Omega and Marcus Gad. From hip-hop, Chali 2Na (Jurassic 5), Swedish MC Promoe, US rapper Rêverie, JuJu Rogers, French beatmaker Degiheugi and South African female rapper Dope St Jude, all make appearances.
The UK vibe features jungle and dancehall pioneers General Levy and Tippa Irie, along with grime stars Flowdan, Lady Chann and Killa P.
Fellow French artists include Big Red, O.B.F and Manudigital, and to complete the cast, L’Entourloop have once again called on Bermuda’s Troy Berkley, and talented trumpeter N’Zeng, to accompany them on the road along with Dutch rapper BlabberMouf.
