TRIBES OF EUROPE ‘Opportunity’ exclusive video reveal “An other-worldly shimmer and sparkle…”

UNVEILED today – exclusively via MusicLoveMusic – new TRIBES OF EUROPE video for latest single ‘Opportunity,’ released Friday (Integrity Records) and another instant Mediterranean inspired masterpiece following previous single, ‘Sun Don’t Mind.’

‘Opportunity’ is the idyllic soundtrack for that glorious end of a beach-based summers day, watching the sun fade from its blazing, blinding, yellow brilliance to a seductive, mellow orange, the scent of jasmine lingering in the air, the tireless cicadas overpowering the gentle sound of the surf.

TRIBES OF EUROPE founder, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Martin Elsey once again teams up with regular allies bass maestro Chris Taylor (Poison Girls, The Bays) and vocalist  Barbara Stretch (Spoilsports, The Vernons) with their distinctive, lush sound further boosted by the addition of vocalist Max Taylor (Mika, Groove Armada, Roots Manuva), drummer Harry Bennett (Clor, Creepy Neighbour), Ric Elsworth (Underworld, Bastille) on bongos, and Phil Cambridge (Kensington Symphony Orchestra) on trombone & trumpet.

“I always sleep with the radio on and sometimes as I’m drifting off I’ll hear a really interesting piece of music,” said Elsey. “Then, in the morning I’ll look it up, play it and feel a bit cheated when it’s nowhere near as good as I’d thought in the small hours. Perhaps being on the edge of dreaming makes the music feel like it’s coming from an altogether more exotic place. ‘Opportunity’ is an attempt to make music that builds in that other-worldly shimmer and sparkle – and you don’t need to put your pyjamas on to listen to it.”
