Tim Oliver’s THE SILENT ROOM launches debut single

HAVING worked with Boy George, Lady Gaga, and Neneh Cherry, keyboard king Tim Oliver – under the guise of THE SILENT ROOM – has released debut single ‘You’ll Never Know,’ via Meddle.

“There’s a recurrent theme in this record of in-between spaces,” he said. “To find yourself wandering the corridors of your inner life – a magical zone that’s sometimes euphoric and dreamlike, sometimes isolated and frustrating. Though the lyrics reflect regret and something that’s lost, in this space the music can transform it into hope and catharsis.”

‘You’ll Never Know’ will form part of The Silent Room’s debut EP, ‘Fluorescent,’ slated for release before the end of the year, and mixed by double Grammy-winner Julian Kindred (Ellie Goulding), and mastered by Robin Schmidt (The 1975, Michael Kiwanuka, Wolf Alice).
