THEE HEADSHRINKERS race with the devil on ‘Sunday Driver’

AHEAD of December’s debut album ‘Head Cheese,’ (Property Of The Lost), UK proto-punk garage eccentrics THEE HEADSHRINKERS have revealed their first single, ‘Sunday Driver.’

A heady, modern mix of The Stooges and The Fall, the two minute, riotous ‘Sunday Driver’ is typical ‘Shrinker – driven by the bass line, no middle eight, turning repetition into an art form. Rob’s vocals spit and sneer, while balaclava-clad Gino turns his Vox Phantom into a blistering incendiary device, with Stiv’s fast, loose, garage beat holding it all together.

Their debut album does what every debut should. A perfect sum up of an abrasive garage band. Recorded in three days at Rochester’s Ranscombe studios with Jim Riley at the helm, home to the ‘Medway sound,’ boasting a back catalogue of The Prisoners, The Dentists, and Billy Childish.
