THE WOOD and Brooke Combe raise the spirits of Mississippi’s soul and gospel greats

LIVERPOOL’s THE WOOD recall the spirit of the finest Mississippi soul and gospel on exquisite, emotionally charged new single ‘Cold Fire’ featuring recent Lionel Richie support artist, Brooke Combe.

The song forms part of the ‘Cold Fire’ EP released October 31 via Riverdream Records and also features mainstays Alex Evans (vocs) and Steve Powell (guitar/bass).

The new EP also features The Wood’s funk-heavy, psyched-up masterly version of John Fitch and Associates ‘Romantic Attitude.’

‘Cold Fire’ EP was mastered by Pete Maher(U2, Nick Cave, Depeche Mode) and produced by Powell at Liverpool’s Ark Recording Studios.
