The waiting is over – the summer’s greatest chill-out track has Finally Arrived

CONSISTENTLY producing the finest dreampop psychedelia of 2026, Portland’s WOODEN OVERCOAT preview upcoming ‘Hello Sunbeam’ EP with today’s unveiling of ‘Finally Arrived,’ along with accompanying video.

“I wrote ‘Finally Arrived‘ when I was thinking a lot about social media, which I was completely off of for many years,” explains band founder and frontman, Brant Hajek. “Like many songs, it’s actually about multiple things all at once. Some of it reflects my own experience at the time going through grief and relationship issues, and it’s also about the delusions many people have about fame, making it big, becoming larger than life.”

Hajek performed every instrument on the studio recordings but has recruited a band for live performances, lining up with Dillon Glusker (bass), ‘Mac’ (guitar), and Brian Levin (drums/backing vocs).
