THE HEAVENLY BODES and a whirlwind weekend on a Dutch hillside

THE HEAVENLY BODES follow up recent single ‘Faux Pillars’ with ‘De Groene Heuvels’ the second track from July’s ‘Green Hill’s’ album – via Fuzz Club.

Purveyors of the finest lo-fi garage-psych, the band were formed in 2023 and can be seen at Cardiff’s Orange Light Festival (May 23), and Scorrier’s Great Estate Festival (May 30).

“Much like the purchasing power of the Munten, ‘De Groene Heuvels’ succumbs to rapid inflation,” said frontman, Paul Ruskin. “It follows the account of a whirlwind weekend on a Dutch hillside. Leg twisting and eye twitching. ‘De Groene Heuvels’ feels like the struggle of staying upright on an uneven surface.”

Completing the lineup are Alex Mantle (drums), Fin Wilson (vocs/guitar/organ), and Iolo Puleston (bass).
