THE EGGMEN WHOOOOOO! don’t care. Do you?

WANDERING Welsh melodists THE EGGMEN WHOOOOOO! have returned to their weird garage-psych, surf-pop wizardry to reveal first single, ‘I Don’t Care,’ and debut album ‘Fuzzy Eggs, Please,’ released October 25 via Strangetown Records.

The Eggmen Whoooooo! is the latest vehicle for the irrepressible and inextinguishable creativity of Welsh songwriter Benedict Frye, alongside members of Los Blancos, and Trecco Beis with the band loosely gathered around the small towns of South Wales, comprising Frye, Gregg Boyle, Sheldon Advocaat, Thom Lett, Gwyn Ŵy and Sue Flay.

Speaking of the new song, Frye simply said, “Ennui, existential dread, boredom, hangovers, render times etc.”

All ten songs on ‘Fuzzy Eggs, Please’ were recorded in mountainous seclusion in Carmarthenshire with producer, Thighpaulsandra (Spiritualized, Tim Burgess), and by offering the deceptively youthful thrash of ‘I Don’t Care’ to listeners first, Frye and the band have clearly committed to immediacy over subtlety.
