Sweet home Alabama – KEYON HARRIS ain’t goin’ stop

April 17 2026

FROM the small West Alabama town of Vernon, nu-soul, blues singer KEYON HARRIS presents latest single, ‘All or Nothin.’

Inspired by blues legend Muddy Waters, Darius Rucker and Gary Clark Jr, Harris began writing songs at eleven years of age in an attempt to combat his shyness.

“I was a shy kid, and writing songs was the best way for me to express my feelings,” said Harris. “I’m trying to accomplish my own special unique style, I want to stand out not blend in. What keeps me going is the fact that I know the Lord has put me in this position for a reason. I’m touching people’s lives with my music, with my words – this is bigger than myself.

“My Uncle Daniel always pushed and encouraged me to follow my dreams and pursue it to the fullest no matter what anyone else says. So that is what I did. I’ve always been a good songwriter, but I never envisioned recording my words. My cousin Derek gave me that idea and encouragement to start recording them. My Uncle Daniel believed in me to do it. So, I started this journey back in 2015 or 2016 and I write about real life stories and events that have happened to me or that I’m going through at that moment. I don’t limit myself to one particular genre, whatever I feel is the style I go with, and I live by the motto ‘Can’t stop, won’t stop, ain’t goin’ stop.’”
