NEW single ‘Our Remaining Pig’ draws its title from an image produced during Tacoma-based songwriter KYE ALFRED HILLIG‘s time in art therapy.

“I drew a man on his family farm wading across a river toward the final living pig, knowing he had to slaughter it,” Hillig explained. “You can tell he doesn’t want to do this, but sometimes the hard thing is exactly what must be done – and sometimes couples just need to say the honest and painful thing too. No one benefits from avoiding the suffering that comes with growth.”

Today’s release is the second from upcoming album ‘The All-Night Costume Company,’ due March 04.

‘Our Remaining Pig’ was recorded at Seattle’s Ex Ex Studios, produced and mixed by Johnny Nails.
