“Sometimes a melancholy song of hope can soothe the troubled mind.” DOTSUN MOON unveil latest single, ‘Moments In The Sun’
FROM the current ‘Tiger’ album, DOTSUN MOON unveil the blissful new single and accompanying video, ‘Moments In The Sun.’
The song from the upstate New York-based artist is an occasional sorrowful, yet hopeful anthem for troubled times, echoing the sentiment of friends navigating an occasionally overwhelming world.
“The opening guitar line before the song kicks in recalls the simple guitar lines of The Clean and The Chills, especially ‘Pink Frost,’ without copying those bands,” said multi-instrumentalist Richard Flierl, the man behind the musical project. “I see friends on social media reaching out to make sense of the world, dealing with difficult issues and being overwhelmed. It is a lofty goal, but sometimes a melancholy song of hope can soothe the troubled mind.”
Tiger’ was mixed by Richard Flierl and Doug White – and engineered and mastered by White at Watchmen Studios in Lockport, NY.
