SOLAR EYES warning on latest hell-raiser: ‘Time Waits For No One’

FOLLOWING previous single ‘Murdering Hippies,’ Birmingham’s psych-shock rockers SOLAR EYES return with new track ‘Time Waits For No One’ – a fable relating to being stuck in a rut, desperate to escape and to discover the path to living the best life possible.

“It’s a warning that life is over in the blink of an eye and you have to make the most of it,” explains vocalist Glenn Smyth, joined in the band by drummer Sebastian Maynard Francis.

The song begins with a Hunter S. Thompson sample, the accompanying video [Tom Wagstaff] depicting the scrawling’s of a madman, carving out an imaginary manifesto.

‘Live Freaky! Die Freaky!’ the bands second album, due September 26 via Fierce Panda Records, was recorded at Courtyard Studio in Oxfordshire (Radiohead, Supergrass and Band of Skulls), co-produced by Ian Davenport, and mixed by long term collaborator Jeff Knowler.
