Single of the Week: WON’T SAY RABBIT, ‘Ally’s Little Lamb’

SOUNDING like a Blitzkrieg Bop-era Ramones fronted by an angry Kate Pierson, New Jersey’s WON’T SAY RABBIT today self-release latest single, ‘Ally’s Little Lamb.’

With a somewhat admirable, roguish aversion to PR, precious little is known of the band other than they have been making music since the ‘80s with a number of releases via Record Union – clearly, WON’T SAY RABBIT aim for their music to speak for itself. Brian (guitar), Tom (bass/keys), and Beth (vocs) form the backbone of the outfit with a number of various drummers joining them over the years

Is this the end of the ‘Rabbit, a glorious swansong? Who knows, but if so, it’s the perfect way for one of the better bands of the past few decades to bow out.
