Sealed with a kiss? AMERICAN LIPS are ‘On Strike!’

MONTREAL/LOS ANGELES-based trio AMERICAN LIPS are back with new full-length ‘On Strike!’ – via Ancient Fashion Records – featuring Sebastien Grainger from Death From Above 1979.

With a classic The Fall and Wire garage, art-punk sound, the album is filled with absurdist humour, and a further earthy, seasoned bite courtesy of guitarist and producer Adrian Popovich (SUUNS, Priors, The Sheepdogs).

Joining Popovich in the lineup are bassist and vocalist Jessica Bruzzese, and drummer Grainger, whose work with Death From Above 1979 earned gold status in Canada.

Mixed by Grainger, ‘On Strike!’ was produced and recorded at Ancient Fashion East, Montréal, and Ancient Fashion West in Lucknow Ontario/Los Angeles.
