ROBERT PLANT honours the past and gears up for US tour on latest offering ‘Chevrolet’

ROBERT PLANT releases latest single ‘Chevrolet’ today – the opening track from his ‘Saving Grace’ album, due September 26 via Nonesuch Records.

The song is a rendition of Donovan’s 1965 ‘Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness),’ itself an adaptation of Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy’s 1930 Delta blues classic, ‘Can I Do It for You.’ 

Plant and his Saving Grace band head out for the US this autumn with shows in fifteen North American cities including NYC’s Brooklyn Paramount, Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre, Chicago’s The Vic, and Los Angeles’ United Theater, with support provided by Rosie Flores.
