Oregon’s JENNY DON’T & THE SPURS drop ‘Live at the Jenny’ classic – via Property of the Lost

August 7 2025

HASTINGS-based Property of the Lost record label announce JENNY DON’T & THE SPURS as the third artist in their ‘Live at the Jenny’ album series.

“Sunday 23rd February 2025, Jenny Don’t & The Spurs played a free party at the aptly named Jenny Lind, situated in the English south coast seaside town of Hastings,” said label founder, Karl Horton. “With punters marking their spot hours before stage time, we knew this was going to be a belter – and it was that and much, much, more.

“The bands raw country/garage intensity combined with the hoedown party atmosphere of the hundred odd people crammed within the wood panelled walls of this old town boozer is perfectly captured. There’s no hiding on a live album and here, and Jenny Don’t and the Spurs proved themselves to be top of their sweat-drenched game.”

Out of Portland, Oregon, Jenny Don’t & The Spurs were formed in 2012, their members playing in all manner of bands including country, rockabilly, new wave, and up, hardcore punk.

Jenny began with garage rockers Don’t, drummer Buddy Weeks has toured with Otis Heat and Sallie Ford & The Outside Sound, bass player Kelley Halliburton’s history lies within the Portland punk scene including bands Resist and Masskontrol with Poison Idea drummer Dean Johnson, while guitarist Christopher March spent his youth playing in various bluegrass bands.
