No strings attached on PUSH PUPPETS throwback video ‘Shake It Like You Mean It’

OUT of Chicago, indie pop-rock outfit PUSH PUPPETS unveil latest single ‘Shake It Like You Mean It,’ taken from their fourth album ‘Tethered Together’ (via Flowering Tree Music).

“For such a simple little song, I enjoy how each verse explores a different facet of why it’s best to express yourself fully,” said frontman and founder Erich Specht, with Steve Frisbie (backing vocs/guitar), Kyle Magnusson (keys), John William Lauler (bass), and Greg Essig (drums) completing the lineup.

Filmed to resemble a silent movie, the video features pie fights, magic, plenty of dancing, and was produced by Scott Thiele and Sebastian Gonzales, video editing and animation by Tcomas Studio.  The band are supplemented by a string quartet, comprising Stephanie ‘Sly’ Young (violin), Katherine Andrick (viola), Molly Rife (cello), and Kelly Jozwiak (violin). Produced by Doug McBride (Smashing Pumpkins, Veruca Salt, Silversun Pickups, Cheap Trick) and Erich Specht, ‘Tethered Together’ was also mixed and mastered by McBride at Chicago’s Gravity Studios.
