MINE ROAD choose life on breathless new single
IRISH rock outfit MINE ROAD follow up last month’s ‘Snowplough’ single with ‘Tightrope,’ another track from July’s debut album release, ‘Tomorrow’s Sky.’
“The basic premise of this song is that you always have a choice in life to make things better for yourself,” said guitarist, Stu Cash. “The chorus echoes this sentiment with the simple framing of walking the tightrope of life, or walking away from the pressures and demands of modern life and choosing a healthier more sustainable path. Everyone is different so every path will be different, so seek your own path rather than follow what people think is right for you.”
Due July 4th, ‘Tomorrow’s Sky’ contains eleven high-energy tracks, which will delight fans of – among others – Foo Fighters, Shinedown, and Nickleback.
Joining Cash in the band are, Ken Carthy (lead vocals), Dave Flood (guitars), Steve Cash (drums/backing vocals), with bass supplied by former member, Donnacha Neary.
