MESSAGE TO BEARS release folktronic modern classic, ‘Open Lungs’

VIA Lost Birds Records, MESSAGE TO BEARS – the musical alias of English composer and multi-instrumentalist Jerome Alexander – today release latest single, ‘Open Lungs.’

“The song is a reflection on the connection between breath and anxiety,” said Alexander. “I’ve always been obsessed with the role that my lungs play in how I feel, and as the instrumentation increases, I wanted this to reflect the idea of being able to breathe properly again.”

With a heady blend of folktronica, modern classical music, and electronic vibes, 2007’s debut ‘EP1’ – an overnight sell-out – was followed by the ‘Departures’(2009), ‘Folding Leaves’ (2012), ‘Maps’ (2103), ‘Carved From Tides’ (2019), and ‘Constants’ (2019) albums.
