Mancunian influences run deep as STAVARIS signs up for December’s monumental, virtual music festival

FROM the magnificent Lithuanian city of Vilnius, self-confessed electro post-punk artist STAVARIS is this week’s featured artist ahead of 24:1900’s huge, virtual music festival, scheduled for Saturday 21st December.

“We believe ‘24:1900’ is the world’s first twenty-four-hour virtual music festival featuring independent acts,” said Mark Gee from festival founders and organisers, 122 Music Management.

“And apart from raising the profile of the featured acts, 122 Music Management are also fundraising, with ten percent of all ticket sales donated to Music Venue Trust (MVT), and Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF).

“Stavaris was formerly in the seminal Lithuanian band, ‘Verslo Rizikos Reservas’ (VRR), and as with VRR, Stavaris’ Mancunian influences run deep, whilst his lyrics contemplate, and mock modern life.”
