‘Losing Streak’ MARGO PRICE new single “A coming-of-age story inspired by struggle”
MARGO PRICE revisits her formative Nashville days on latest single ‘Losing Streak,’ taken from August 29 album, ‘Hard Headed Woman,’ (via Loma Vista Recordings).
“The song tells the story of my early years coming up in Nashville,” she said. “It is a coming-of-age story inspired by struggle, substances and the search for the perfect song, and it was co-written with my husband and songwriting partner, Jeremy Ivey.”
With its gritty modern outlaw sound, ‘Hard Headed Woman’ not only reconnects Price with her roots, but also with producer Matt Ross-Spang (Midwest Farmer’s Daughter, All American Made). Recorded in the historic RCA Studio A, ‘Hard Headed Woman’ is Price’s first album made in Nashville, a town she has called home for over two decades.
Fresh from a series of shows with Mumford and Sons, Price promotes her new album across the US through October and November for her ‘Wild At Heart Tour,’ backed by a new live band and including a night at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium: Further details HERE
