Listen to THE GOODS – and ‘Don’t Spoil The Fun’

OAKLAND-based power jangle-pop THE GOODS unveil debut full-length album ‘Don’t Spoil The Fun’ today (Dandy Boy Records), written and produced by frontman Rob Good (Ryli, Sob Stories, Cocktails), and joined by bassist Cherron Arens, and guitarist Gabriel Monnot.

Focus track and accompanying video ‘Sunday Morning Out of the Blue’ is a tale of the push and pull of trying to make a relationship work, the song capturing that anxious calm following a fight, where things begin, slowly, to make sense again.

“These songs were written over the last five years, some of them even pre-date our first EP,” said Good. “We recorded several versions before finally landing on something that felt right. This album is us levelling up our sound and finding our own style.”

‘Don’t Spoil The Fun’ was written and produced by Good, mixed and mastered by Bart Thurber, with additional engineering by Cherron Arens.
