Kyiv’s STRAYTONES latest addition to ’24:1900′ virtual music festival

OUT of Kyiv, Ukraine, STRAYTONES are busy preparing for their appearance on December’s, 24:1900 virtual music festival.

“Straytones are a psychedelic/garage rock band, playing what they call ‘Kyiv psych fuzz,’ said Mark Gee from festival founders and organisers, 122 Music Management.

“They released their fourth album in 2021, which takes in their garage rock/psych roots, along with modern neo-psychedelic vibes including The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Ty Segall, and Oh Sees.

“As far as we’re aware, ‘24:1900’ is the world’s first twenty-four-hour virtual music event featuring independent acts, and apart from raising the profile of the featured acts, 122 Music Management are also fundraising, with ten percent of all ticket sales donated to Music Venue Trust (MVT), and Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF).”
