HANS DEVILLE, NAOMI IN BLUE and the greatest imaginary Western soundtrack there ever was
HANS DEVILLE has teamed up with Chilean alt-shoe gaze sensation NAOMI IN BLUE singer Naomi Larsson Piñeda, for the ultimate, imaginary Western soundtrack, ‘The Day After,’ via Property of the Lost.
‘The Day After’ was initially an instrumental written for a proposed French Western, but as hopes began to fade on the production, Deville asked Piñeda if she would create some lyrics and lay down the vocals on the score.
The resulting track is an emotional, poetic, journey into love and separation. A whispered monologue, part English part Chilean Spanish, only adding to the passion, weaving between the cinematic score of Spaghetti Western twang, choirs, and sweeping orchestration.
