GYPSY PISTOLEROS seeking answers on latest single, ‘What Happened To The Old Town’
AHEAD of May’s ‘Welcome To The Church Of The Pistoleros’ album, glam rockers GYPSY PISTOLEROS have released their video for new single, ‘What Happened To The Old Town,’ via Earache Digital Distribution/Cargo.
The third song from the forthcoming album is a poignant coming-of-age anthem, a journey through time, a narrative of childhood memories, forgotten dreams, and the bittersweet passage of years.
With its Phil Spector-esque balladlike beginning, and it’s eventually journey into punk romp, the song captures the moment of returning to the decaying streets of your youth, places previously filled with echoes of laughter, fears, and friendship, but now housing the ghosts of the past.
May’s album was recorded at Pershore’s Old Cider Press Studios, and produced and co-written by Dave Draper (Nickelback, The Professionals, Terrorvision).
GYPSY PISTOLEROS are, Gypsy Lee Pistolero (vocs), Kerry Pistolero White (bass/backing vocs), Shane Pistoler Sparkz (guitar/backing vocs), and Chris Pistolero Hopton (drums).
