Gillespie croons on JOSEFIN ÖHRN’s electrifying tale of raw, intimate love

Swedish born London-based JOSEFIN ÖHRN unveils latest single ‘Electrified’ with Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie on hand to provide backing vocals – the second release from September’s debut solo album, ‘Cherry,’ via Eagle Lane Records/Republic of Music.

Öhrn, previous linchpin of Swedish Grammy nominated Josefin Öhrn and The Liberation, breathes raw, intense intimacy into ‘Electrified’ a hazy, dream-pop tale of deep, newly discovered, all consuming love.

“When you have a moment of an almost magical thrill with a lover, when the senses, and surroundings all come together,” she said, “that super heightened state of mind, dopamine bliss.”

September’s album is set to feature Anton Newcombe (The Brian Jonestown Massacre), Andy Bell (Ride/Oasis), Björn Yttling (Lykke Li/ Peter, Bjorn and John), with Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm (Soundtrack Of Our Lives) producing.

Öhrn has also announced two UK in-store appearances: September 29 at London’s Rough Trade, Denmark Street, and Liverpool’s Jacaranda on October 1.
