FOLLOWING THE SIGNS return with new single, ‘Birthright.’ A song for the doubters in your life

HARNESSING some of the heaviest riffs to emerge from the Irish metal scene, Cork-based FOLLOWING THE SIGNS return with new single, ‘Birthright,’ a gut-punching colossus of a song, guaranteed to appeal to those familiar with Slipknot, Lamb of God, and Whitechapel.

“’Birthright’ is a concept song about living your life the way you want to,” said singer, Dan Hayes.

“It’s all about sticking to your guns and fighting for your dreams even though you might have people in your life that doubt you. Even though the song is heavy, it has a, ‘I’m free and able to conquer whatever stands in front of me,’ vibe.

“The main focus of this song is to showcase the band’s determination to not give up no matter how many times they’ve been denied. The song also showcases how the world around us is unfair and we have to find a way to deal with it. It has the band’s classic sound with thought out riffs and catchy melodies mixed with undeniable basslines. This track marks the start of the new FTS era.”

Joining Hayes in the band are Noel Crowley (guitar), Vincent Renoux (guitar), Rory Taylor (bass),
and Chris O’ Hanlon (drums).
