EMILY HABER’s heavenly new single: “Blending wistful dreams with the heartbreak of growing up”
LOS ANGELES-based singer-songwriter EMILY HABER teams up with Grammy-winning producer Daniel Dávila on new single ‘Nostalgia,’ the first song from her forthcoming EP of the same name.
“The single ‘Nostalgia’ is my tribute to the childhood I longed for but never truly had, blending wistful dreams with the heartbreak of growing up,” she said.
Born with severe hearing loss, Haber wore hearing aids from the age of four and only truly heard her own voice aged 17, and as a result has decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from ‘Nostalgia’ to The Starkey Hearing Foundation, which provides the gift of hearing, enabling people to connect with the world around them.
From a musical family, Haber’s life has been immersed in music, including a five-year stint honing her craft in Nashville, before relocating to LA where she now works fulltime as a songwriter.
“I’m honoured to have been involved in projects that have reached millions of people including Andy Grammer ft. Ladysmith Black Mambazo ‘She’d Say,’ and Gryffin ft. Zohara ‘Out of My Mind.’ I aspire to help bring out the best in songs, and in the people who create them,” she added
