‘Easier’ the new AUDIOGUST single “A journey through struggle, growth, and resilience”

WITH a subtle Dave Matthews Band vibe, Seattle’s AUDIOGUST – the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Chris Evans – today reveal new single ‘Easier,’ the second track culled from latest and third album, ‘Falling From Down.’

“I wrote ‘Easier’ out of frustration with how overwhelming it can be to take in all the bad news every day,” said Evans. “There’s a fantasy in the song about how simple life might feel if you just tuned it all out, but in the end, you can’t really look away. The world always pulls you back.

“’Easier’ serves as the emotional and thematic centrepiece of the album, hinting at a journey through struggle, growth, and resilience that listeners will encounter in the full release.”

Evans began his musical journey as a guitarist and bassist, and following a decades-long detour within the software industry, has returned to his true passion – writing and recording in his own studio. His upcoming ‘Falling From Down’ album showcases a harder-edged rock sound, whilst retaining his trademark strong melodies and deep emotional lyrics, tailormade for the disenchanted and dreamers.

‘Falling From Down’ was recorded, mixed and mastered at AudioGust Studio in Clinton, WA.
