EARLY JAMES teases January album with new single, ‘Rag Doll’

FROM January’s Dan Auerbach produced ‘Medium Raw’ album, EARLY JAMES today releases latest single, ‘Rag Doll.’

The accompanying video – directed by Tim Hardiman – takes place at the Sloss Furnaces factory in Birmingham, AL, a national historic landmark, with James wandering around the factory, filmed in black and white, before finding his bandmates and flipping a switch to full colour.

Beyond seven Early James originals – six previously unrecorded numbers and fan favourite ‘Dig To China’ – the new album includes songs co-written with among others, Auerbach, and Sheryl Crow’s frequent collaborator, Jeff Trott.
