Dirty deeds done Aussie deep – AVALANCHE roll into 2026 ‘Armed To The Teeth’

FRONT-RUNNERS of the new wave of Aussie rock ‘n’ roll, Sydney-based AVALANCHE give notice of debut album ‘Armed To The Teeth’ by releasing early single, ‘Down For The Count.’

Led by husband-and-wife team Veronica (lead guitar), and Steven Campbell (lead vocs/bass), the band have risen from humble beginnings rehearsing in a steel factory, to touring the world.

Produced with Grammy-nominated and ARIA-award winning producer Steve James, and anchored by flagship title track ‘Armed To The Teeth,’ the album releases February 13 via MGM.

“’Armed To The Teeth’ has been over two years in the making,” said Steven. “It is quite literally our blood, sweat and beers. We recorded it ninety percent live with as little overdubs as possible, no editing, no effects – just that classic old-school Aussie pub rock sound, heart first, amps cranked, and nothing held back.

Airbourne’s Joel O’Keffee’s actually inspired the name. We sent him the masters and he very excitedly called us saying the track ‘Armed To The Teeth’ was one of the best new rock songs he’s ever heard, even comparing it ‘Let There Be Rock’ and that it would make a killer album name. For a riff that Veronica wrote when she was sixteen and listening to Airbourne, it was the ultimate praise and utterly unreal, so we just had to go with it.”

Joining the Campbells in the band are Blake Poulton (rhythm guitar), and Bon Lowe (drums).
