Derry’s TRAMP address ‘lowered cars and lad culture’ with new single, ‘The Birds’
DERRY’s therapy rock outfit TRAMP – Siânna Lafferty, Ellie McFadden, Fionnbarr Doran and Ciaran ‘Steamy’ McCay – are back with ‘The Birds,’ a joyful, tongue-in-cheek single and accompanying video, via Lowered Suspension.
Filmed and directed by Hot Shoe Productions, the video was inspired by the association of ‘lowered cars and lad culture,’ humorously addressing the dark side of misogyny – the repetitive line, ‘Not all men are like that, not all men…’ sung with purpose, and like the band, not to be misunderstood or underestimated.
TRAMP have rapidly emerged as a force within the Irish DIY music scene, winners of the ‘BBC Introducing: Artist of the Year Award 2023’ and sharing stages with The Undertones, TOUTS, and Cherym.
