DC hardcore legends SCREAM confirm 2026 EU summer tour

DC hardcore legends SCREAM return to Europe this summer with a handful of dates scheduled around their Rebellion Festival appearance, including one night at London’s New Cross Inn where they are joined by The Adolescents.

Originally formed across the Potomac in Alexandria VA in 1981, the band released the ‘Still Screaming’ album (via Dischord) two years later with a teenage Dave Grohl on drumming duties prior to joining Nirvana.

Splitting in 1990, Scream reformed in 2009 releasing the Grohl-produced ‘Complete Control Recording Sessions EP’ in 2011, followed by the full-length ‘DC Special’ in 2023, the last release for original drummer Kent Stax who passed away shortly after
 
The current lineup features original members Pete Stahl (vocals), Franz Stahl (guitar) and Enoch Thompson (bass), along with ex-Battery drummer Andrew Black and Gizz Butt (ex-Prodigy, English Dogs) on guitar.
