Dark music for dark times – SWORD TONGUE and ANTHONY H collab on tribal EDM classic

OAKLAND-based alt-rock trio SWORD TONGUE team up with electro-industrial DJ Anthony H [Anthony Hudson] on new release and tribal inspired EDM classic, ‘Diamonds to Dust’ (Anthony H. Remix).

Creating dark music for dark times, husband and wife team vocalist Jennifer Wilde and guitarist Gaetano Maleki have also recently been joined by drummer-producer, Dan Milligan.

“We’ve partnered with Anthony [H] before, for a remix of ‘The Illusionist’ on our second album, and were excited to hear how he would transform one of our favourite tracks into a more DJ-friendly and dance floor filling powerhouse,” said Wilde.

“This is a track born out of an anxious reckoning of the unceasing progress of time, counting down to the inexorable end we all face. These days when all that is desired is rest and pause, we are reminded that there is no cheating time – it moves forward whether we are prepared or not.”

Anthony H has previously worked with Empirion, Omnimar, Sebastian Komor, Moaan Exis, Matt Hart, Dark Tunes, Ruined Conflict, Die Warzau, Spankthenun, Solemn Assembly, and 40 Octaves Below.

Today’s single is the focus track from recently released EP, ‘Bonfire In The Tempest,’ produced by Dan Milligan, brainchild of ‘The Joy Thieves.’
