BRIAN is ‘On His Way’ with a DANGEROUS slice of indie-funk, alt-rock-fuzz-pop
MANCHESTER’S underground indie-funk, alt-rock-fuzz-pop genius DANGEROUS BRIAN has released his debut single, the totally funked-up, six-minutes of summer-ready, bass-based infectious songwriting, ‘On My Way.’
As much an engine for his strange, irresistibly alluring cross-over sounds as the curator of his strange, irresistibly alluring image, Dangerous Brian can be found puzzling over photography, backdrops and screen edits at the same time as sleazy-disco-ready rhythms and beats.
“’On My Way’ is entirely open to interpretation, there is no hidden message, I just want everyone to enjoy the song and its infectious rhythm,” he said.
From the musical new world, Dangerous Brian quotes Drenge, The Wytches, Kagoule, Squid and King Gizzard as artists to admire, while old world influences heard in his sound include the raw power of Black Sabbath, and the burnished glamour of Guns N’ Roses.
