Cali’s calling BILLY HUNT & THE MODERN CLASSIX

SUFFOLK’s BILLY HUNT and THE MODERN CLASSIX return with a beautiful slice of sun-drenched West Coast magnificence, new release ‘California Callin.’

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Jeff Buckley, Neil Young, and Paolo Nutini, the single references the dangers of losing yourself in the disguise of being a musician, paying homage to Jim Morrison and the initial lyric that inspired the song, “Don’t you know they all go to Paris to die?”

Recorded at Wilde Bloom Studios, ‘California Callin’‘ was produced and mixed by Steve MacLachlan.
