BUGG flying high with latest single ‘Oblivious’

ETERNAL teenager JAKE BUGG returns today with ‘Oblivious,’ the second single pulled from November’s repack of his ‘A Modern Day Distraction,’ album, released via Lovebugg.

“’Oblivious’ is the final release from the album,” he said. “We had this one finished quite early in the writing, so it’s great to include it here, and give the song its moment in the sun.

“After we released the album we realised we weren’t finished creatively so we headed back in the studio and made more tracks. All of these would have gone on the original, so we’re releasing a deluxe version that feels more like the complete record.”

Thirteen years and seven albums into his career, Bugg recorded ‘A Modern Day Distraction’ at London’s Metrophonic Studios, Mark Taylor and Patrick Mascall on production duties.
