Brooklyn-based alt-rockers CLONE unleash ‘Care To Try’ EP on eve of US tour

FRESH from the success of the Hawkwind-tinged single Care to Try, Brooklyn’s alt-rockers CLONE release three-track EP of the same name, with Galvanized and Libras at Dusk completing the trio of songs – and further offer a limited edition two,-track seven-inch vinyl release.

Written during the past twelve months with Clone’s original lineup of LG Galleon (Dead Leaf Echo), Gregg Giufree (Pilot to Gunner), Max Idas and Dominick Turi, the EP was produced by Galleon and Martin Bisi (Brian Eno, Herbie Hancock, Iggy Pop) at his BC Studio, and mastered by Fred Kevorkian (The White Stripes, Sonic Youth, Lloyd Cole).

“These songs were again recorded with the legendary Martin Bisi, who helped bring the determination and drive in the studio to the forefront when recording these songs,” said Galleon. “A different lineup makes for a novel live experience every time, yet always with incendiary results, the full tour this month should prove a very fruitful experience.”
