Brazilian punks FANTAZMAZ tease July’s debut album with new single, ‘Distortion’

BRAZILAIN punks FANTAZMAZ have unveiled new single ‘Distortion’ ahead of July 4’s self-titled debut album, available via Ghetto Bitch Records.

Previous single, ‘Dead On The Way Home,’ clocked in at a breathless thirty seconds, with the band now doubling that run time to just over the minute mark, one full of rampant and unbridled power.

Written as a primal scream of anger immediately after the pandemic lockdowns, the title reflects the distortion of the reality we’re all experiencing, it’s musical power cut with an explosive dark waltz rhythm, the video featuring singer Thami running through London’s Barbican Estate.

Formed in 2019 by Thami and guitarist Raf Oliver, the band perfected their raw, unrelenting sound with the addition of bassist Chokito, and former U.K. Subs drummer, Jamie Oliver.

Now based in the UK, Fantazmaz are preparing for Rebellion Festival, a string of European shows, and a return to Brazil for a further series of gigs.
