BETA TRIP’s ‘Superette’ album – it’s exactly what you need

TORONTO-based multi-instrumentalist and alt/indie musician Steve Lewin and his solo BETA TRIP outfit unleash debut album ‘Superette’ today via Having Fun Records.

Written, performed and produced entirely by Lewin, the ten-track ‘Superette’ overflows with reflective Elbow-esque storytelling, expansive layered guitars, vulnerability, and personal growth, standout track ‘What I Need’ the perfect introduction to Beta Trip project.

“’You don’t know what I need, you don’t know what I’ve seen’ leads the chorus of this introspective piece that aims to highlight understanding through perspective and the pursuit of being true to oneself,” said Lewin.

Superette’ takes its title from the small independent mom and pop corner stores and follows a number of independently released EPs and years of performances both at home and overseas.
