Belgium’s DISORIENTATIONS preparing for UK sojourn
BELGIUM’s alt-punk band DISORIENTATIONS have just announced a short UK tour beginning next month, with more dates yet to be confirmed.
“We are very happy to come to the UK for the first time,” said drummer, Tomas Serrien.
“Post-punk is an English phenomenon, and it is nice to play our music in some legendary cities where bands like Joy Division or The Sound were operating, and it is an exciting opportunity for us to connect with some fans outside of Belgium. We like to play live as much as possible, and people can expect loud and dark music from our side. We like to translate our emotions as raw as possible into sounds, music we like performing.”
Serrien is joined in the band by Lukas Van Camp (bass), and Niels Elsermans (vocals/guitar), their music a translation of contradictions in life, songs of love, songs of loss, and coping with the vast emptiness that manifests itself when something fragile is lost.
CONFIRMED DATES:
August 08 Glasgow, Broadcast
August 09 Hull, New Adelphi
August 10 Liverpool, Quarry (Frogfest)
August 11 Darwen, Sunbirds Records
