Balaam and the Angel announce 2025 tour dates and release remastered ‘Forces Of Evil’ (Radio Edit) single & video
BALAAM AND THE ANGEL today release their ‘Forces Of Evil (Radio Edit)’ remastered and edited version of 2024’s EP lead track, and further announce a series of UK tour dates.
“The aim of the edit was to adjust the arrangement of the song to make it even punchier and focus attention on the lyrical content,” said guitarist, Jim Morris. “The song deals, controversially, with the contradiction that exists between the religious doctrines of all faiths, that promote the idea of love and understanding, and the development of intolerant ideologies that support the abuse and persecution of followers of different faiths.”
Brothers Jim Morris, Mark Morris (bass/vocs), and Des Morris (drums), were born in Scotland and grew up on a council estate in Cannock, Staffordshire, forming their band in the early ‘80s, inspired by a love of Bauhaus, The Sisters Of Mercy, Southern Death Cult, and Theatre Of Hate.
Balaam And The Angel achieved great initial success, signing to Virgin Records for their debut album ‘The Greatest Story Ever Told’ and touring the world with The Mission, Kiss, The Cult, Aerosmith and Iggy Pop.
