Back from the brink – THE STUDIO 68! & DANI TURNER announce new single, album, and 100 Club gig

AFTER having their rise to stardom curtailed by an early ‘90s chaotic lifestyle, Mod legends THE STUDIO 68! return with new single ‘Need A Miracle’ (via Detour Records) ably assisted by the powerhouse vocals of Dani Turner.

The song forms part of February’s upcoming ten-track Rollin’ album, a rock ‘n’ rollercoaster fusion of funk, soul, jazz, and blues, recorded at Walthamstow’s iconic Bark Studio.

“’Need A Miracle’ is a cautionary tale for anyone thinking about entering this weird and wonderful business,” said band spokesman Paul Moody. “It’s a tribute to every band that has ever fallen foul of the music biz – an aural ragu for a dish served cold.”

“We’re here to bring the joy – and the danger – back into rock ’n’ roll,” added Moody. “The psychedelic express is picking up speed, and we’d love you to come along for the ride.”
