All rise for the KING OF SWEDEN’s prog rock beauty, ‘The Bay’

‘THE BAY’ – out now via Golden Robot Records – is the second offering from Finland’s prog rockers KING OF SWEDEN, and the second song culled from the band’s forthcoming, sophomore album.

The song explores themes of dealing with the past, of places and people, while reflecting on the emotions of letting go and moving forward. The thoughtful, yet uplifting track seduces listeners with its peaceful melodies and complex, evolving rhythms.

True to the band’s signature sound, ‘The Bay’ incorporates smooth textures from vibraphone and melodica, masterfully played by drummer Janne Savela, along with an understated, yet crucial, flute performance from guest musician, Jan Tiusanen.
