“A howling snarling visceral mess” Loup GarouX return with ‘Gett Outt’
Mercury Prize-nominated trio songwriter/producer Ed Harcourt, The Feeling’s Richard Jones, and Gorillaz, Delakota, Circle 60, and Senseless Things’ Cass Browne – aka Loup GarouX – unveil ‘Gett Outt,’ the first single from second album, ‘The Sinister World of…Loup GarouX.’
To celebrate the release, the band further announce a Halloween performance at London’s The Social, on October 31 [Details here]
“This album is a grotesque – a crooked mirror of the world we’re in,” said Browne. “Both as onlookers, participants, perpetrators, instigators and the victims. It’s a howling snarling visceral mess, tearing itself up in the shadows. It sounds fucking great. A great reflection of where we’re at now, globally.
“The songs are the scattered victims, sprawled – broken and torn – across six lanes and six years. It’s just a sonic multi-car pile-up in the car-crash world we’re in right now. The money, the mad media and human detritus blowing chaotically in the wind, like confetti across the carnage. These, lost highways of the human condition.”
